Life in a new Decade

Well... we spent the last week celebrating the New Year on the coast in Washington overlooking a raging ocean. Huge swells of water crashed against the shore throwing whole logs up in the air. It was a powerful storm that hit the coast and kept us indoors for most of the stay. We did head down to the beach to climb on logs and build a killer fort when the tide was safely out. Most of our time was spend enjoying the beautiful view from our cabin with some dear old friends and entertaining all of our children.
Everyone came home refreshed after a very busy holiday at home. Soap was flying out the door as fast as I could make it. I am starting to dream up all sort of new and exciting products for the new year. Hoping to take this slow time of the year to create some of these new natural wonders and find a place on my craft table for them all!

Day One

Here we are blogging, something I never could have dreamed I would be spending precious hours doing. Here at Orchard Farm we are in constant motion. Herding kids off to school, feeding chickens, baking, oh and of course making tons and tons of SOAP and such for our beloved and loyal customers.

so here's where I will share recipes, talk about exciting new soaps and let people know about specials that we are running on our etsy site.

I'm actually excited about connecting with this large new network of friends that we have yet to meet. So thanks for coming by. Hope to see you again.
